| Description: | RCM International is in the business of designing, building, and maintaining manure digesters for production of biogas and electricity. Our staff knows digesters, farms and farmers. Our goal has always been to provide a profitable project that the owner is proud of.
The first RCM digester was a 500 cow plug flow completed in 1982 built for Langerwerf Dairy in Durham, CA and is operating today.
Over the years, RCM staff has designed and built over 85 successfully operating farm digester systems.
Our smallest digesters are a 200 pig digester and a 200 cow digester. Our largest operating digesters include an 8,000-cow dairy, 239,000 finish hog, 5,000 sow to wean and 25,000 hog (farrow to finish). Almost a dozen of our digesters are co-digesting other wastes including whey, ice cream, fruit juice, fish breading, yeast, and grease trap waste.
